https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D265532 Bug ID: 265532 Summary: fbsd-update 13.0 -> 13.1 and active ipfw (open) rulebase during first reboot during upgrade Product: Base System Version: 13.1-RELEASE Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: kern Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: pi@FreeBSD.org I had several cases where an upgrade from 13.0 -> 13.1 with an active ipfw ruleset: # firewall, ipfw based firewall_enable=3D"YES" firewall_type=3D"OPEN" caused the host after reboot to loose ipv4 connectivity. It probably works if one sets firewall_enable to NO before the reboot with the 13.1 kernel, and enables it after the final fbsd-update install and does another reboot. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
