Hello! Whenever I start a gtk-using application (most commonly -- gvim), there is a noticable delay in start up. This is accompanied with the following messages on stderr: nfs server pid1033@mi:/net: not responding nfs server pid1033@mi:/net: is alive again I guess, something in gtk/gnome's initialization goes through all file-systems and gets stalled by some of them (such as amd's). Can anything be done about this? Thanks! -mi
