I am trying to install FreeBSD4.4 on an AcerNote Lite. It has a 730MB IDE HD configured as AUTO in the BIOS. Linux, and DOS recognize it. The probe finds the drive as a standard IDE, but when I run install disks, it refuses with "No Disks Found!" I also note that I can't mount/see floppies once the install program is running. The PCMCIA card is recognized, and I get link lights, I have forced the card to IRQ3 which should not conflict with drives. Any help appreciated, -- Iain. /\o/\ /\o/\ /\o/\ /\o/\ /\o/\ /\o/\ /\o/\ /\o/\ /\o/\ Paterson: Consulting/Caving/ | Live long and prosper! ;} Cliffing/Clan/Computers/ | Cave softly, | Hope you've got a long rope, !-} PC-Services | Take lots of pictures! :) | http://www.pc-services.on.ca/ | NSS: 45839 http://www.caves.org/ mailto:iain@pc-services.on.ca | SCCI: 415 http://www.scci.org/ /\o/\ /\o/\ /\o/\ /\o/\ /\o/\ /\o/\ /\o/\ /\o/\ /\o/\ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
