It just stopped for hours right after printing the first number (510) representing the amount of remaining memory to dump. It works on FreeBSD-3.x but never on FreeBSD-4 and current. The machine is a MSI i815 bookpc with IBM 40GV and 60GXP HDs. Could the IBM hard disks be the culprit?
