Poking around I don't currently have /usr/src or /usr/ports symlinked elsewhere but know I have done it in the past, and /usr/ports is a symlink in the one backup I have under my fingertips. And FWIW, /home/ncvs is a symlink on this machine. Cvsup has no problems updating it and CVS has no problems sucking data out of it. Am moving a /usr/ports/ right now and will see what happens. -- David Kelly N4HHE, dkelly@hiwaay.net ===================================================================== The human mind ordinarily operates at only ten percent of its capacity -- the rest is overhead for the operating system.
