Of course there are... - setup an SSH tunnel for SMTP traffic towards a remote host were you want to drop your mail and define localhost:25 as your smarthost. ssh -v you@remotehost -L 25:remotehost:25 -N - on a remote host, let the smtpd listen to different port than 25. - send the mail to the submission port on the remote server instead of the smtp port.
