This is not a 4.4 issue as the same installworld worked on several other boxes. Since installworld'ing on one of my boxes on boot it cant find /boot/loader or the kernel. It does the DMI check, the "little twirly" thing spins twice, then comes up unable to find /boot/loader. At the boot: prompt i can 0:da(0,a)/boot/loader and then the box starts up fine. So far I've redone disklabel, then I cd /usr/src/sys/boot && make clean && make && make install. Still to no joy. I'm totally at a loss as to what I did wrong with this installworld. +=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ Mark Russell mark@viper.net.au ph 61 + 2 + 9699 3837 viper.net.au http://www.viper.net.au fax 61 + 2 + 9699 3841 +=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ The best things in life are free, thats why Windoze costs so much If you have received this message in error it proves that I am an idiot.
