This is on a Dell Optiplex GX115. However, when I try to play any mp3 using xmms, the sound goes too fast. Xmms plays about 1.2 seconds of the song in a second. Is this a known problem? Should I set some flags in my kernel config? My /dev/sndstat reports: FreeBSD Audio Driver (newpcm) Aug 14 2001 15:06:07 Installed devices: pcm0: at io 0xd800, 0xdc80 irq 10 (1p/2r/0v channels duplex) TIA! --Stijn -- What would this sentence be like if it weren't self-referential?
