looks like the topology parsing code is going off the rails? that core file
has:

topo =3D {
  num_packages =3D 22,
  num_cpus =3D 256,
  num_cores =3D 64,
  max_cpu_num =3D 255,
  num_cores_per_pkg =3D 8,
  num_threads_per_core =3D 2
}

where 22 packages must be bogus. could you post this machine's
kern.sched.topology_spec
