I plainly agree with James T. Koerting that, for the reasons he clearly sta=
ted,
this should not be kept as an open bug.

As an ezjail user, I'd rather suggest to keep the per-jail configuration via
jail_* variables until there is a reliable solution to drop it. Even until =
13.0
or 14.0 if this is necessary.

I do not want to replace ezjail by unreliable or "fat" tools and hope the
authors of jail(8) will find a solution and/or take the config file managem=
ent
functionality proposed by erdgeist into consideration.
