On my testsystem I have a zpool called "system" with a FreeBSD 9.1 installed and a second zpool called "test". Trying to add the log device I get the following error: # zfs create -V 128M system/zil # zpool add test log /dev/zvol/system/zil cannot add to 'test': one or more devices is currently unavailable kind regards Wolfgang
