I'm not sure this is the right place to ask (but it can't hurt) - I haven't gotten any response from freebsd-questions. I'm trying to determine if there is a way for FreeBSD to utilize a USB 1.0 external hard drive. I have an older BusLink 6gb external 1.0 USB drive - and it would be handy as a portable device, etc. Any pointers would be appreciated. I did look though /usr/src/sys/i386/conf/LINT, and imagine I might NOT be able to, but I wanted to be sure first before I tried another OS. Thank you.
