As far as I know, Conner DAT drives are Archive (Archive was bought 
out by Conner which in turn was assimilated by Seagate).  What brand 
appears on the drive is largely a matter of when it was manufactured, 
marketing, etc.  I don't care much for Conner either but are you 
implying that DAT's made since the Conner branding are 
deficient?
