I'm the maintainer of Chinese/Korean/Japanese boot.flp. If there's X11 BDF font, I think it's possible (is it iso-8859-1 charset?). We've already externalized the messages of boot.flp to a single message file. If you can translate this message file and src/release/help/*.hlp files, we can make French boot.flp (and of course also other European language boot.flp's). If you're interested in Japanese/Korean boot.flp's, please download them from "http://wing-yee.ntc.keio.ac.jp/hosokawa/FreeBSD-boot/". They can display Japanese/Korean characters on the standard VGA PC's. P.S.: Chinese messages are no longer maintained. We need Chinese volunteers to maintain these translation. -- HOSOKAWA, Tatsumi Network Technology Center Keio University hosokawa@ntc.keio.ac.jp To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-config" in the body of the message
