Are there any plans to offer a "preservation" install? By this I mean an install which overwrites only system files (/usr/sbin, /usr/src/..., ...) and endeavors to leave configuration (/etc/sysconfig, ...) and user-level data/directories (/home, ...) alone? AIX had such an option, and, it actually worked a fair percentage of the time. As freebsd becomes more mature I would think such an option would save a lot of people a lot of time. thanks, greg
