In fact, it works well with many Toshiba laptops, whereas it doesn't have any effect on others. You may experiment with PSM_RESETAFTERSUSPEND too. It must be used together with PSM_HOOKAPM. But, so long as PSM_HOOKAPM alone works, there is no point in using PSM_RESETAFTERSUSPEND. Kazu
