I have 70 machines... all running the same hardware: Asus P2B-D, Dual Pentium II 400mhz, 512MB RAM, Adaptec 2940UW/9GB Seagate Cheetah. All have FreeBSD 3.0-RELEASE installed. All have the same kernel compiled on them... however, about 15% of these machines show 0% idle on top, 0/0/0 load, 0% in each entry on top (even when I run a while(1) proggy).
