My approach is to try and maintain the list of pkgs/ports I use and just install from scratch. usually things build fine around the release date of the version. I try to confine my port building to near the time I did the install. then live happily ever after until the next major release. System was running 12.1 without= issues, with=C2=A0a full install of KDE 5.

Did an upgra= de to 12.2.=C2=A0 Everything was still working.

Di= d a "pkg update/pkg upgrade" to the latest quarterly ... and now = no KDE applications will run.=C2=A0 Running anything gives the following er= ror:

ld-elf.so.1: /usr/local/lib/libKF5CoreAddons.= so.5: Undefined symbol "_ZNSt19bad_optional_accessD1Ev"

Thinking it might be an issue with the quarterly package bu= ilds, I switched pkg to use the latest repo.=C2=A0 Did a forced upgrade to = make sure everything was re-installed.=C2=A0 Same error.

Did an upgrade to 13.0.=C2=A0 Force upgraded all pkgs again.=C2=A0 S= ame error.

Manually uninstalled all KD= E frameworks pkgs and installed them fresh.=C2=A0 Same error.
Unfortunately, even though this is running on a ZFS pool, I did= n't snapshot the /usr/local filesystem, so I can=C2=A0revert to a worki= ng system.=C2=A0 :(

Haven't tried building=C2= =A0from the ports tree directly yet or trying to figure out poudriere.=C2= =A0 Hoping to avoid that if possible (been using strictly the official bina= ry packages for several years now).

Has anyone els= e come across this error message when using the latest or quarterly KDE pac= kages?
