https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D279513 --- Comment #6 from rempas <rempas@tutanota.com> --- (In reply to Vladimir Druzenko from comment #5) Ok, I have good news and bad news! The good news is that, trying another USB 3 port, works! I wasn't using UBS= 3 ports because when I did, my Linux OS has problems and sometimes, it would = also "freeze" in the BIOS booting screen (I think it's called "POST" or somethin= g). But I did think of trying it anyway, and it does work. Bad news, is that my installation is broken. I did try to install it two mo= re times, and it doesn't work. I did use a manual partitioning in an MBR disk = and I couldn't seem to make it work. The installation guide in the Handbook is outdated. There is no "label" and, you first need to create partitions as j= ust "freebsd" and not mount them anywhere and then, create a "nested" partition with the desired filesystem. I seem to did everything, but I couldn't make = it work... I will try again at some point when I find the time and motivation= to do so. Thank you so much for the help and I wish you to have an amazing day! --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
