You might be able to do this from the FreeBSD installation sequence: boot from the FreeBSD CD; choose the disk slice editor. Don't make any changes; just quit. It should ask you what kind of master boot block (MBR) you want. Choose "BootEasy". Exit without making any changes. A better solution would be to do the above, but also continue the installation.
