There probably are quite a few lurkers on the list who would be more than happy to help, if someone would just tell them how. Not just "go off and do XXX", but provide scripted, step-by-step instructions. If you don't have the time to do it yourself, then explain to others how to do it. When objections are raised (cf: advocacy style), then 1) attempt to educate (sell) why your approach will work, and if that still fails, 2) take into account the objections, realize that perhaps your target will not be accomplished in one step, and 3) reformulate your plan into smaller increments that are palatable to the volunteers.
