First, I was to say thanks for producing FreeBSD. I've been fooling around with many Unix and Unix like systems for some time and I find that FreeBSD just "feels right". Keep up the good work. Now on to the stupid user questions: 1) Is kde on the 2.2.5 CDROM? The docs imply that it is but I can't find it. If not where is the best site to get it from? 2) Which is better kernel or user PPP? I would like to configure my home Unix box to act as a proxy server for a couple of PCs (Mac/Win95) so that my family doesn't need to dial out manually. This would require that the FreeBSD box build/tear-down the Internet connection automatically. This seems like a job for kernel based rather than user based but I would like a professional opinion before I invest a few days on this project. Thanks! David G.
