I'm writing to report that ATAng still breaks DVD writing for me.  I
have a 

acd0: CDRW <PHILIPS DVD+RW SDVD6004> at ata1-master WDMA2

connected to a

atapci0: <Intel ICH4 UDMA100 controller> port 0xbfa0-0xbfaf,0x374-0x377,0x170-0x177,0x3f4-0x3f7,0x1f0-0x1f7 at device 31.1 on pci0
ata0: at 0x1f0 irq 14 on atapci0
ata0: [MPSAFE]
ata1: at 0x170 irq 15 on atapci0
ata1: [MPSAFE]

This unit works under 5.1-RELEASE and under windows.  Using burncd on
5.2-RC, no errors are reported, and the disc appears to be burned, but
it is not recognised by any reader (including the writer drive).
FreeBSD says the following when trying to read the resulting disk:

acd0: FAILURE - TEST_UNIT_READY status=51<READY,DSC,ERROR> sensekey=ILLEGAL REQUEST error=0

The commandline I use is:

burncd -v -v foo.iso
