Basic things: - I can successfully mount and read from data CDs - My sound card is functioning as expected - cdcontrol -f /dev/acd0c works normally (in fact I'm listening right now :-) - kscd no longer dumps core! :-) - I've set the cd device properly in kscd - kscd will read the header info from the CD and generate a successful CDDB query - If I have started playing with cdcontrol, kscd will dutifully show remaining time, track number, volume percentage, etc.. However, whether a CD is playing or not, pressing ANY of the CD control buttons in kscd (including play/pause, stop, down track, up track, and time inc/dec), results in my CD being stopped, and "Ejected" being displayed in the kscd window. Anyone have similar problems? Suggestions?
