Having not fiddled with it, I would hesitate to
assume much.  I would guess that it would
work with mswin or X, and maybe with a
terminal.

It might also work with X forwarding.

I am, of course, making the assumption that
the original author is ssh-ing from something
with a graphical desktop that he could forward
to.
