And indeed it was.

[buffy] /usr/ports/graphics/dri> make -V PKGNAME
dri-6.4.1,2
[buffy] /usr/ports/graphics/dri> sudo portupgrade dri
[buffy] /usr/ports/graphics/dri> 

Dont know why portupgrade failed to update this port. pkg_deinstall dri
&& portinstall graphics/dri fixed it. Direct rendering is enabled now.
