I am using FreeBSD 9.0-RELEASE-p4 at the moment.

If I set vm.overcommit to 3, add a rctl(8) rule of the form
user:u:swapuse:deny=32M, log in as user u and read a man page,
the memory limit triggers and the system freezes, afterwards
rebooting.

Lower memory limits (like 1M) work as expected, as do higher
memory limits (like 256M), but the 32M limit is crashing the
system.

Any help would be appreciated.
