Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG I telnet to a FreeBSD 2.2.8-Stable machine from a FreeBSD 2.2.8-Stable machine and the session is very slow. Typing complete words before the text appears. I tried going to the same box from another FreeBSD 2.2.8-Stable machine with the same results. Sounds like there's a problem with that one machine, HOWEVER, I telnet to that same from from Windows, with no problems. I telnet to the same machine from a Solaris or SunOS with no problems. Also, let me clarify, it's not just telnet but also ssh. Any interactive session into that machine from a FreeBSD machine is slow. Not just the startup but the whole time. Sounds unreal but I've been working on this for several hours and I'm posting because I've run out of things to check.
