In localhost.freebsd.questions you write: >Is there anything up with the http://www.freebsd.org site? >Or maybe the internet overall? >I can get to alot of other sites but not freebsd's >I can ping , traceroute anything but call up the website. >traceroute www.freebsd.org >12 T1-CDROM-00-EX.US.CRL.NET (165.113.118.2) 358.891 ms 349.362 ms >339.606 ms >13 hub.FreeBSD.ORG (204.216.27.18) 398.348 ms 359.481 ms 349.543 ms >It stops here. Not sure if this is the website server? Yes, hub is the FreeBSD web server. What sort of errors do you experience -- are they timeouts? If so, I'm wondering whether you drop a lot of packets to/from FreeBSD's site (there are known connectivity problems from certain other providers (MCI, Sprint, and ANS). My connection to FreeBSD.org is good. -- bryan k ogawa <bkogawa@primenet.com> http://www.primenet.com/~bkogawa/ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
