I have been using apsfilter for a long time and Andreas Klemm has me spoiled. I
have never had a problem. It has always just worked. I'm sure that this time I
have probably done something wrong but maybe someone else has seen this problem.

After installing and printing the test page perfectly, I leave SETUP and try to
print anything and I get the following error:

Unable to open command line file stc640pl.upp.

I can't find it either. I can find similar files in the work/apsfilter/uniprint
directory but . . . I tried several times with the same results and after not
only doing a pkg_delete -f but physically ereasing /etc/apsfilter
/var/spool/lpd/ /usr/local/share/apsfilter and starting with a new printcap
file.

After looking at the code, it appears that this is being passed to GhostScript
as the -sDEVICE in the gs command line. As a test I substituted stcolor for
stc640pl.upp in /etc/apsfilter/lp/apsfilterrc and it prints without an error.
This not the correct solution, I'm sure, but I haven't been able to figure out
what I have done wrong.

Thanks,

ed
