My kernel is build to support quotas. So the next thing I did was to modify /etc/fstab # Device Mountpoint FStype Options Dump Pass# /dev/da1s1b none swap sw 0 0 /dev/da0s1a / ufs rw 1 1 /dev/da1s1f /backup ufs rw 2 2 /dev/da0s1f /home ufs rw,userquota 2 2 /dev/da0s1e /usr ufs rw,userquota 2 2 /dev/da1s1e /var ufs rw,userquota 2 2 /dev/da2s1e /home2 ufs rw,userquota 2 2 /dev/acd0c /cdrom cd9660 ro,noauto 0 0 proc Then edited /etc/rc.conf and added 2 lines: enable_quotas="YES" check_quotas="NO" Then rebooted and my tribulations began ...the system could not boot past "Starting local packages.." Anyone with similar experience?? Too bad I don't read -stable ..
