Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Date: Sat, 10 Jul 1999 00:16:48 +0100 From: Brian Somers Sender: owner-freebsd-doc@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Hi, Chapter 27 of the handbook (Resources on the Internet) talks about mailing lists, usenet and www sites. Do people [dis]agree that a new section might be added here for ``Other servers'' or ``Other services''. These services could initially include offers of free FreeBSD related email addresses (user@ukug.uk.FreeBSD.org can be advertised immediately - anyone that wants one can have one... other user groups may want to do this too), and if anyone has a need for an account on a FreeBSD box (and wants to `further the cause'), shell accounts can be provided too. I'm sure other services & offers might also fit in here. I can start the section off with some offers from the UK user group - just to get the ball rolling :-) Suggestions / comments ? -- Brian Don't _EVER_ lose your sense of humour !
