--000000000000012b7806082f42b1 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" I'm in sendmail hell again. Trying to fix broken sendmail because libssl.so.11 disappeared, so my sendmail from ports died. I originally built it from ports to try to shut up this error from stock sendmail: Warning: Option: AuthMechanisms requires SASL support (-DSASL) Warning: Option: AuthOptions requires SASL support (-DSASL) It would be nice if one didn't have to go through the ports pageant just to get a working sendmail. There's a sendmail pkg. How does one determine what options that was built with, short of installing it and trying it? Is that documented anywhere? The pkg command doesn't seem to have a way to query for that information. Lots of googling has failed to turn up an answer. Thanks, Bill Dudley This email is free of malware because I run UNIX. --000000000000012b7806082f42b1 Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <div dir=3D"ltr">I'm in sendmail hell again.=C2=A0 Trying to fix broken= sendmail because<div>libssl.so.11 disappeared, so my sendmail from ports d= ied.</div><div><br></div><div>I originally built it from ports to try to sh= ut up this error from stock sendmail:</div><div><br></div><div><font face= =3D"monospace">Warning: Option: AuthMechanisms requires SASL support (-DSAS= L)<br>Warning: Option: AuthOptions requires SASL support (-DSASL)</font><br= ><div><div dir=3D"ltr" class=3D"gmail_signature show" data-smartmail=3D"gma= il_signature"><br></div><div class=3D"gmail_signature" data-smartmail=3D"gm= ail_signature">It would be nice if one didn't have to go through the po= rts pageant</div><div class=3D"gmail_signature" data-smartmail=3D"gmail_sig= nature">just to get a working sendmail.</div><div class=3D"gmail_signature"= data-smartmail=3D"gmail_signature"><br></div><div class=3D"gmail_signature= " data-smartmail=3D"gmail_signature">There's a sendmail pkg.=C2=A0 How = does one determine what options that</div><div class=3D"gmail_signature" da= ta-smartmail=3D"gmail_signature">was built with, short of installing it and= trying it?=C2=A0 Is that documented</div><div class=3D"gmail_signature" da= ta-smartmail=3D"gmail_signature">anywhere?=C2=A0 The pkg command doesn'= t seem to have a way to query</div><div class=3D"gmail_signature" data-smar= tmail=3D"gmail_signature">for that information.</div><div class=3D"gmail_si= gnature" data-smartmail=3D"gmail_signature"><br></div><div class=3D"gmail_s= ignature" data-smartmail=3D"gmail_signature">Lots of googling has failed to= turn up an answer.</div><div class=3D"gmail_signature" data-smartmail=3D"g= mail_signature"><br></div><div class=3D"gmail_signature" data-smartmail=3D"= gmail_signature">Thanks,</div><div class=3D"gmail_signature" data-smartmail= =3D"gmail_signature">Bill Dudley</div><div class=3D"gmail_signature" data-s= martmail=3D"gmail_signature"><br></div><div dir=3D"ltr" class=3D"gmail_sign= ature show" data-smartmail=3D"gmail_signature">This email is free of malwar= e because I run UNIX.</div></div></div></div> --000000000000012b7806082f42b1--
