Anybody had any luck? is pc card support > really here? I've heard good noises about the Toshiba T410CS; this is one of the units I was looking at back when I thought I was going to get one. Stock they come with 8M of memory and no ethernet, but they appear to run XFree fine and memory is available (if not cheap, then again no notebook memory is cheap). Also from my point of view Toshiba's "worldwide warranty" stuff was a big plus. > Ron Minnich |" Microsoft Word: It does so little and it does -- ]] Mike Smith, Software Engineer msmith@atrad.adelaide.edu.au [[ ]] Genesis Software genesis@atrad.adelaide.edu.au [[ ]] High-speed data acquisition and (GSM mobile) 0411-222-496 [[ ]] realtime instrument control (ph/fax) +61-8-267-3039 [[ ]] Collector of old Unix hardware.
