Apologies if this is a FAQ, but I haven't found an answer yet. I'm wondering
if some sort of hardware-agnostic suspend-to-disk is in the works for
FreeBSD.

I see this:

...but I'm far away from having the familiarity/experience to attempt it
myself. I'm curious if any kernel hackers are actively pursuing it.
