I had a clean kernel build, kernel install, and a clean build world and build install, however when I reboot after installing the world, I get the following error. Init: can't exec getty '/usr/libexec/getty' for port /dev/ttyv(#) No such file or directory. Where # changes based on the line. This error scrolls across the screen several times and I am unable to ever reach a prompt, however if I restart in single user mode I can still mount all my filesystems fine, and such, however I will be the first to admit I have no idea what it would be that I am looking for. This was my first time building an OS from sources, and I didn't have anything important on the computer, so if need be I will install from the cds again, however I would like to know if there is a way to fix this without having to reinstall the system seeing as how I would like to be able to do it again in the future =). Cheers, Jon
