Well, I guarantee you it's not me and it's not my wife. That rules out the trick theory! I can see the command in /etc/rc to remove the file. Is there a reason that rc is not operating? Something is trying to mount Cd9660, which I don't have. I get a message like "filesystem mount failed, startup aborted." Does that mean the CD-ROM startup is aborted, or the entire mission??? Perhaps that is what's stopping the /etc/rc from doing it's job? Thanks in advance! Ken
