I ended having to boot off a floppy with a kernel image on it using -rwd0. Once the kernel was in memory it could talk to the controller just fine and see all the partitions. Always had to boot off a floppy, and I was too lazy to see if it was a geometry problem. Joseph D. Orthoefer
