If you require gcc/g++ 2.7.2.1, upgrade to 2.2-GAMMA (or soon to be
-RELEASE).  Just select the 'upgrade' option from the 2.2 boot floppy and
it should be a snap.  

gcc/g++ have to be hacked pretty severely to compile under FreeBSD
properly, and the hackers have already taken care of this for you in 2.2.
