Make sure you have drm2.ko, radeonkms.ko and radeonkmsfw_*.ko in /boot/kernel. Check that you don't load the old drm module from /boot/loader.conf. Also check if you have anything drm related in your kernel config. Remove it if so and rebuild your kernel.
