I'll not use the keyboard definitions if they adhere to the ridiculous standard established by IBM Iceland when they defined the PS/2 keyboard in the early days, and which is now printed on all newer icelandic PC keyboards as a result. Want to know where '@' is? It's on AltGr-Q of all places! :( And that's not the only nonsense. Of course I've gotten used to typing characters such as ALT-126, ALT-64, ALT-92, ALT-96, ALT-124 and friends. ;) (you know there are various designs of 101-key keyboards with the keys in physically different locations) But I've not figured out how to do ALT-keypad stuff for X and it makes sense to be consistent between syscons and the X keyboard. I'd be inclined to define the IBM keyboard as icelandic.ibm.kbd in order to leave space for a saner layout at the main name. :) Anyway thanks again guys, I'm still limping after breaking that metaphorical leg. The other one is proverbial and I'll be glad when it finally breaks. ;) -- Adam David
