You can no longer buy the 'white' SBBs that were specifically made for customer installation of their own devices. The amount of grief we got from all sorts of oddball devices connected behind raid controllers etc was the reason for that. "But it is in a SBB so it should work..." Argh. In my personal experience installing a flex is not so much of a problem. Removing it without killing the flex is much harder.
