I am just hoping to save time. I = have had to create a new freebsd box. I have done so and the system is = running fine. I have a drive that had an existing system on it. I want = to mount that drive on the new box. Now the question. How do I mount the old drive when there are no files = in /dev to mount with. I remember doing this once before, and for the = life of me I can not remember how to generate the /dev/adxxx file for = the existing slices. OK...I Know this has been = addressed.  I am=20 just hoping to save time.  I have had to create a new freebsd = box.  I=20 have done so and the system is running fine.  I have a drive that = had an=20 existing system on it.  I want to mount that drive on the new=20 box.
