Spammers use throw-away dial-up accounts to generate their effluent for a few hours, and then they toss it away and go on to the next free account. The only thing that would work is to attack the providers that host their websites, but by now they sign up with spam-friendly ISPs who ignore any complaints, or they set up their own spam-friendly ISP, and there's not a damn thing you can do. -- Brad Knowles, Do you hate Microsoft?
