Sounds like broken hardware. I don't see what good it will do to read FreeBSD docs. It's like your car engine throwing a rod and looking in the operating instructions for the stereo for how to fix it. Or am I not understanding the problem. I actually had something like that happen to me the other day. The edge of the label had peeled over and stuck on some internal surfaces. Just had to get a pliers and *gently* draw out the floppy. -- Crist J.
