I suspect that they are using a commercial firewall because they have had a big cracker problem during that past year or so. If that is the case it is probably the Trusted Information Systems Gauntlet. The UNIX version of Gauntlet is based on a hardened version of BSDI. BSDI is a close cousin of FreeBSD. As to NT and security, that is an oxymoron.
