Read /etc/ttys. > > DES I Know that. It isn't a real need, but it can solve some minor problems: - uniform lauch. We can't use /etc/ttys to launch gdm. - launch protection. We can test required files & dirs before. - launch config. We can define env like LANG and so before. - make posible share an xdm launch background between xBSD. I think it real a better way that making /usr/X11R6/etc/rc.d/gdm.sh rcNG aware and maintaint a different launch method for xdm/kdm. Also, while the default config have xdm_enable="NO", all other methods are still active.
