A little pricy at the moment, but with speedstep and all of their power improvements, they perform nearly as well as a P4 for most tasks and can run with passive cooling. IE fanless. (assuming that it's not tucked away in a closet or cabinet I'm sure) Of course, AFIK you would have to build a system yourself. ---- Joe Fry ---- (joe@thefrys.com) > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-freebsd-newbies@freebsd.org > [mailto:owner-freebsd-newbies@freebsd.org] On Behalf Of Alex D'Elia > Sent: Saturday, November 20, 2004 5:05 PM > To: bsdfsse > Cc: freebsd-newbies@freebsd.org > Subject: Re: Any thoughts on fanless PC from "Cappuccino PC" ? > > > * bsdfsse [041120 20:08]: > > > > > I built a low-powered FreeBSD server for my house, now I have this > > nagging fear that it will somehow burst in to flames while I am not > > around.
