Hmmm, tried it again, and same results. I had a look through the archives and someone was seeing this on a SMP machine back in OCT, but the problem went away when they went to a uni processor kernel. Unfortunately the unit is on a 3ware RAID system and if I recall correctly, I cannot save a crash to it no? Is this a known issue from around that time ?
