To Everyone who gave me a hand...Thanks I got my problem solved...I loaded 3.3-stable plus the latest PAO patches, and everything now works. I went thru my BIOS and disabled/re-abled everything...it turns out that I forgot to disable the "is this a PnP Operating System" setting. Sure enough, as soon as I turned it off...everything worked. All this after 15 kernel rebuilds/and 4 FreeBSD reloads it pays to go after the simple stuff.
